Blessings of friendship....

To all my wonderful friends,

This should have been the first post, but I got caught up in all the excitement. I wanted to thank everyone who helped make my move, to my new home, smooth and effortless. You are all very special to me, and I appreciate each of you so very much. I haven't asked permission to post your names, but I trust you know who you are and how special you are to me. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I would be lost without you, and I love you all.

Thank you.

Visit...

I am so excited....

My Mom is coming to visit over Easter, to help me with painting my house. Well actually, she is going to supervise me, and teach me how to do things like fix the drywall tape that is lifting, and fill the nail holes. Mom pulled out most of the nails and filled the holes she could reach, when she was here over Christmas, but there are several very high up on the walls, so I will be climbing the ladder.

I see many hours of fun and laughter as we "hang about" the paint department at the local home improvement store. Here's hoping we get almost as much work done as we spend laughing.

Just 14 more sleeps Mom... see you soon.

P.S. Thanks to my Dad for making it possible and sharing Mom for a few days.

Nothing quite like the perfect card...

Dreams Come True…. Congratulations

These were the words my Mom and Dad wrote to me in the most beautiful card when I moved into my new home.

Shortly after I had made the offer on my house and it had been accepted, my Mom and Dad came for a visit. We don’t get to visit each other very often, as we live about 1,000 miles apart, so I wanted them to see the house while they were here. I was so excited, I contacted my realtor (who is wonderful, more on her later), and we scheduled a tour. While they were with me at the house, my Dad was taking pictures so he could share them with my brothers (one lives in England and the other on the East Coast) and my Aunt and Uncle (also in England). My folks really seemed to like the house and over dinner we discussed things I would need to do or purchase for the yard. Our visit was a short one, but I had to go back to work and my folks wanted to continue on their vacation.

For about a year now, my Mom and I have been making greeting cards. We make them for friends, for birthdays, for Christmas, to share our love, or show our sympathy. Now my Mom has expanded into the Housewarming card line too…. I just wanted to share the beautiful card she made me, using one of the pictures my Dad took while there were here for their visit.

I love you guys so very much.

God Bless
